@pens0404 Used to be allowed! Well, not explicitly “not allowed”. Roger Nielson tried it but they ended up constantly running into each other and now it’s outlawed.
@frank_seravalli There was a way to do this with the average fan probably not even noticing much of a difference. Instead they inadvertently made sure everyone noticed it was different.
@frank_seravalli I think you can pull this off quite successfully without trying too hard to make it 4-quadrant entertainment. In concept teams drafting from their home offices isn’t a problem… it’s the over-production of the remote interviews and manufactured moments that end up as groaners.
@ryderfm Where and when do you play? I’ve been looking for a team since mine folded a few years ago. I’m usually pretty reliable or give days worth of notice if I can’t.
@frank_seravalli The best part of this is that until they take this down any visiting teams will (likely) drive right past this location on the way to the airport.
@G7SCRob @GearGoneWrong@IceDistrictAuth@Fanatics@NHLdotcom That’s just how it is. Pretty sure it’s also cheaper inside the arena than outside (I’ll confirm tonight) Something something capitalism.
@iheartedmonton There was a burger called the Gretzatella at Oil Burgers in the old Epic Food Hall downtown. It was absolutely amazing. Oil Burgers is gone now but I’m hoping that Chef Cam Nelson opens up something permanent.

@FriedgeHNIC Would that matter? I recall a long review a few years ago where an Oilers goal against the Flyers was looking for a high stick/hand pass a few secs b4 the goal. Review confirmed there was but the delay was to determine if it was a reviewable call, which it wasn’t, so it counted.
It is true that this was a huge audience moment. People went bananas. I still feel it was a terrible misreading of Yoda’s character to give him a lightsaber in the first place (the force is all he needs), but can’t deny Lucas knew what the fans wanted.
