@ProtonDrive While I appreciate the speed upgrades, please focus on core functionalities - especially photos: bulk download, sharing outside of proton ecosystem, upload and download status, upload and download with a locked screen on mobile.... like these are extremely basic functions. GJ tho
@notDEVILHUNTER@Marcodmeatball If you're in a pitch black void, unable to interact with anyone, and you don't know how long it will last... can you really say you're alive?
That's pretty close to death If you ask me.
We've been working on this with my amazing team for some time and there are a few great things waiting for you there! A bit of sadness maybe…? https://t.co/7yyMbY560P
@beige_vrc I've been following you for some time - you're really good at the artistic direction of the pictures you take. Definitely would want to see you pick up a real camera and snap some pics IRL!
Great job as always😊
@kit_zune It would be nice for this theory to be real.

Light-hearted "space romance" mixed with deep existential questions and space exploration - just like Cyberpunk! wait....
From the 3.0 livestream, I think the biggest lore drop is that Lahai-Roi is trying to revive the Exostrider to fight the region's Threnodian.
This kind of goes in line with a theory I've had a while, and that is that EVERY story arc in WuWa has been trying to provide an answer to the 'Divinity Question':
How can humanity navigate and coexist with beings, concepts and events that are beyond, and above them?
This can be the Lament, Sentinels, and of course, Threnodians.
Jinzhou answered this question with a Confucian mentality that emphasised prosperity, harmony and order. Jue emphasises order in society and Confucian design and language of social harmony, especially amidst war and conflict, is littered all over 1.x's characters and story.
Rinascita answered this question with a Renaissance Humanist mentality. People have had belief in divinity since 'time eternal'- but what happens when events happen that shake this belief? What will happen when gods erode and decline, and humans must adapt to an increasingly human-centric world, similar to Rinascita after 2.7?
And I think Lahai-Roi will answer their 'divinity question' with an Enlightenment mentality. In cultural history, the Enlightenment was a movement that came straight after the Renaissance and emphasised science (many people consider modern science to ahve been 'born' in this era) and the idolisation of the pursuit of human knowledge.
Importantly, the Enlightenment was when religion and the 'divine' became increasingly weaker and culture secular in the aftermath of Renaissance humanism. This isn't to say RELIGION WAS DEAD; only that it became to be seen more critically, logically, and was increasingly culturally privatised. It was an era when people were reconsidering their connection with God.
Now, consider Lahai-Roi:
1) Biblical reference to 'Lahai-Roi', which alludes to themes like connection to God/divinity
2) Scientific, Enlightenment knowledge-driven design language of Lahai-Roi
3) Promethean and Icarus-esque coded attitudes in dripmarketing, suggesting both the glory of human ambition and it's cost (e.g. "the universe has rejected us", "we are the fire chasers" + all the stuff that came up in 3.0 live stream)
4) Confirmed now that the Exostrider, is essentially an artificial, 'Sentinel-replacement', being as I guessed, manufactured divinity.
The reason why the Exostrider being meant to fight the Threnodian is big is because it is human ambition in manufacturing divinity, which has always led to immense pushback in theology (e.g. Babel), hence perhaps why "the universe has rejected us" which we heard in Honami in 2.8.
But symbolically, everything about how "we must move past reliance" makes much more sense. In line with Enlightenment attitudes, there is no Sentinel, no 'god'. Only the pursuit of human knowledge and advancement can push forward and fight back against the Threnodian. This is not to mean that the people of Lahai-Roi dislike Sentinels, just like how Enlightenment thinkers didn't hate God.
But God is no longer with us. The connection is broken. 'Lahai Roi', the 'one who sees me', casts their gaze to us no more. And in this frostland that still feels the crush of the Threnodian, will human ambition prevail or will it be punished by the fate and the divine?
@Wuthering_Waves Let's gooo! Well deserved win!
Rare case of devs listening to player feedback and actually improving the game instead of monetizing it to the ground.
@Dex_0_0_04 I think Genshin entered its "Cash Cow" phase (google PLC phases If you're curious).
It's evident in the recent lack of high-quality events and longer breaks between meaningful content. Also, Miliastra is another method to farm money without much effort - it's community creation
