The entire discourse is predicated on Harder being better, which is weird. There's a lot of GREAT DJs that can play more than one style. It's shouldn't feel degrading to play a more nuanced opening or direct set. If anything, it broadens your horizons and abilities.
1. Harder β Better
2. Hard/Well Known Bangers kill an early empty room
3. If you have a crowd, feed it, nobody will be mad
4. It's about respecting the audience, not the headliner
5. If it's just a DJ concert, all bets are off
6. Promoters have responsibility here too
