James Talarico frequently claims he had 45 students in his class as a first-year teacher.

But Texas Education Agency data show that his biggest class was 30 students.

Looks like he inflated the number by 50%.

The Fed held today, ten to two. She was one of the two, and she wanted a quarter point more. The other was Beth Hammack, who runs the Cleveland Fed.

Cook is the Biden appointee President Trump fired last year over her mortgage paperwork. The Supreme Court said in June she stays. He has been demanding CUTS for months, in capital letters.

In four years on the Board she had never dissented once. Not on a hike. Not on a cut. Her first came today.

November 5 she walks into the White House for a closed hearing on whether she lied on those mortgages. Four hours, no more. The order says she shall appear.

That is not a vote on inflation. That is a vote with a hearing date on it. 💎

The numbers landed Thursday morning, and they landed well for the White House.

The Commerce Department's advance estimate shows the U.S. economy grew at a 𝟑.𝟒% 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 in the third quarter, topping the 3.2% economists had forecast. It's an acceleration from the second quarter's 2.2% pace, and it comes as voters head to the polls next Tuesday in a midterm election Democrats have tried to frame around affordability.

The report credits 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 for the growth, with a drag from exports and from inflation, which the same report pegged at an annual rate of 3.6%. So it's not a clean sweep — price pressure is still real for families at the grocery store. But a sub-4% economy outgrowing forecasts, in the same week the Fed just held rates steady and days before voters decide who controls Congress, is not the headline Democrats wanted heading into Election Day.

For an administration that has staked its entire closing argument on a booming economy — record 401(k)s, falling gas prices, a jobs market that keeps surprising to the upside — this is one more receipt to wave at voters who are about to decide whether to keep it going.

The most hated man in Washington State ... BAD Bob Ferguson.

Washington earned a "D," and Governor Bob Ferguson received an "F" in the Cato Institute’s 2026 'Freedom in the 50 States' report, with the governor finishing sixth from the bottom nationally.

Washington ranked 36th overall, while Bob Ferguson placed 45th among governors.

His economic freedom ranking was even worse: 48th out of 50, according to the report’s interactive dashboard.
