@ravihanda@rao_ashok@kanthariyaJr I used to do UCITS(VWRA) from Singapore back in 2017, when I first opened my IBKR SG account. But I moved everything to India, for the sake of simplicity and bought MOSL S&P500 & HDFC developed world index funds. Now majani life.
@ravihanda Kya zarurat hai? Your major networth is already invested and has massive capital gains. You are anyways not going to move substantial amount overseas, why the hassle of schedule FA and all that nightmare?
@cbe_sam In Bangalore, my car is parked outdoors where dust, bird poop etc is regular fare. I don't care about the outlook anymore. Just clean it once a week and drive. Looks don't matter, but the car is solid. The car itself cost me 1.5L, so I am not spending anything for the outlook.
@ravihanda I am completely opposite. Spending money doesn't give me happiness. In fact I get thrills from finding good deals in simple hotels. I have created a perpetual portfolio that will last multiple generations with 2% SWR. Hence earning more money also doesn't bring happiness to me.

@ramamoorthy_h@Vivek_Investor Until even 10 years back there was Nifty 50, but no Nifty 500. Until 5 years ago, most advisors were asking us to shun small and midcaps. Now that small and midcaps have done extremely well, they are telling us Nifty500. So advice changes based on season.
@nsarathc@poojaofficial5 How many people drive 1Lakh kms in less than 10years? It seems EVs makes sense for business people who practically live inside the car.
@cbe_sam@NehaFNO As an average software engineer my daily rate is 12k rupees. A CA can probably file max 4 ITRs in a day and he won't have work everyday. It is sad, after studying CA which is such a difficult course they cannot match and avg s/w enggr income.
@BasuNivesh I experienced this 1st hand. After 10 months of early retirement, I rejoined the workforce, although at 1/4th of my Singapore salary here in Bangalore. But the job is relaxed and it gives me the engagement, social interaction and purpose. The paycheck doesn't excite me anymore...
