So we've agreed after meeting this beautiful boy this morning to take him under Shads not sure where he's going yet but we need to get somewhere for him in the next 1-2 weeks after seeing him we believe him to be no older than 6-7 months he does have some nervousness and can become defensive but will back off however if you are gentle with him he will be your friend
We are looking for Shepherd experienced preferably Mali or working line
Experience of nervous dogs would be an advantage as would a quiet household with someone home alot
No young children he needs an adult only home
This boy has the potential to be a lovely well trained dog in the right hands he's bright and will learn easily using positive reinforcement

Maru #A547272 is a 7 year old black and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier who has been overlooked because she is kept in the back kennels and must be requested to meet.

She is a sweet, calm girl who loves chin scratches, brushing, and affection. Maru did okay on her temperament test with another dog, but staff recommends slow introductions.

She deserves a cozy home, a soft bed, and someone to love her. Please help her be seen and find a foster or forever home.

Please meet Smudge who arrived with us recently as an unclaimed stray.
Smudge arrived in appalling condition, he was underweight and suffering from an untreated flea allergy which has now been successfully treated and he’s looking and feeling much better.
Smudge is a 5y.o Beddlington x Whippet and I’m sure you’ll agree he’s a very handsome chap indeed. He is super people friendly and adores any human attention he can get!! I don’t think he’s had the best life before arriving with us, but despite his past he’s the happiest little soul who just wants to please.
Smudge is dog friendly but can get a little over excited in play, especially with small dogs. He would really benefit from being rehomed with a resident dog, a calm, tolerant dog either the same size as him or bigger would be ideal. He will not be rehomed with cats.
Smudge walks calmly on the lead and travels quietly in the car.
Smudge would be better suited to a retired person or someone who works from home as he’s not keen on being left on his own. This is something that will improve with time. He is such a lovable boy who loves to do zoomies in our enclosed field followed by a snooze with his favourite human.

Rolo is a 17 month old male Jack Russell Terrier. He is available and looking for a new home.
Rolo is okay with other dogs. He hasn’t been around cats and would be best in a home with older kids such as teenagers.
He is chipped and healthy with no medical issues.
Rolo eats Butternut box dog food and also enjoys a Sunday dinner.
He can be left on his own if you need to go out and usually goes to his crate.
At night he sleeps in his own bed or next to his owner.
Rolo loves meeting new people and loves the attention.
He is fully house trained.
Don’t leave any socks lying around as he likes to steal them.
Rolo loves treats and travels well in the car. He will bark with excitement when the car stops.
Rolo is very cleaver and intelligent and knows a lot of commands such as sit, ball, go, toy, wait.
He loves to play with toys and also loves to snuggle up.
Rolo will bark at passersby and can be protective of his home. He isn’t a fan of the mail being delivered.
He would be suited to someone who has a lot of time and attention to give him.
Rolo loves to go for big walks.
He is very friendly and loving and will make a great pet for someone who is on their own or a family looking for a dog.
