@DavidSacks @patrick_kz13 this is a great thread about how our current ammo shortage and lack of infrastructure to replenish those stockpiles within *5 years*. We have it all away to an always unwinable and easily avoidable war. Scroll thru his feed, he archived all the propaganda
@monkey2Ybanana@JackDuffin Yeah I’m all about centering extreme takes about coaches, not everyone sucks lol. Just because someone isn’t McVay right away doesn’t mean they aren’t good. But comparing Stefanski to Shannahan is stretch to put it mildly. You’re 💯 right about context w/ early Shannahan record.
@snailprincess3 @Noahpinion 1) we don’t have enough ships currently in a potential conflict with china and 2) we dont currently have the necessary manufacturing capability to build the proper amount of ships. Is that a fair synopsis of the concerns of the US vs China ships discussion?
@JediBearBob@Noahpinion I understand, but in the context of comparing that to a China why is this such an urgent issue? The Chinese do not want to confront us militarily in my view. Also why is the now over $1 trillion annually in defense spending not enough to cover this? Perhaps to much to tweet I kno
@Noahpinion I’ve seen this making the rounds a bit recently. Can anyone tell me specifically why China’s superior shipbuilding is a legitimate concern? Perhaps defense concerns in other areas (drones, hypersonic missles etc) but increase shipbuilding seems to be how wars used to be fought?
