@GuruAnaerobic @ChrisGPackham In 1961 our chips were wrapped in newspaper, our vegetables in paper bags, meat was wrapped in paper, we didn’t use plastic chuck away cups, soft drinks were in glass bottles, expanded polystyrene wasn’t invented, we didn’t wear Crocs etc etc

@Its_Mista_B @lichfield_lips By the way the run off into Leomansley Brook off the Western Bypass by the footbridge puts oil and rubber into it which is why there are no longer Sticklebacks or Crayfish in there. They’ve been poisoned into oblivion. Forever probably.

@Its_Mista_B @lichfield_lips Only about 3 weeks ago and also about 12 months ago, I’ve walked past it this morning there are hundreds and hundreds of dead earthworms, it’s run past Captain Smith so I think this is the worst yet. A mini but significant ecological disaster!
