After a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience the way you once depended on theirs. Very few understand this role reversal. What looks like innocence or inconvenience is really time coming full circle. Don't correct them harshly. Don't rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment.
You are out to eat with friends and get ready to pay your bill and you notice the tip percent options are not adding up, so you get out a calculator and check the numbers. The amount for 20% is actually adding up to 28%🤔
Do you go ahead and use the restaurants numbers or do a custom tip?

I’m genuinely glad I was born in the ’90s. The games we played actually made you think. They forced you to figure things out on your own.
I used to play Pokémon on the Game Boy Color all the time. In some of those games, there were caves so dark you couldn’t see unless you taught a Pokémon the HM move Flash. I always thought it was a waste to carry a Pokémon just for that move, and I could never remember to pick it up anyway. So I finally said, “Forget it—it’s a long drive anyway.” (We were traveling a lot back then)
Instead of going back for Flash, I came up with a plan to get through the cave without it. I stayed close to the walls and moved slowly. If I noticed a strange pattern or a break in the wall, I’d stop and feel my way around. It was frustrating, and maybe a little stubborn, but I made it through the entire dark cave without ever using Flash.
I was nine years old, and that was the first time I remember telling myself, “I’ll figure it out.” That persistence—the keep-trying mentality—felt real back then.
There’s a part of me that thinks of how the performance would’ve been with subtitles.
But with the immediate visceral reaction he got when they announced him as the halftime show I also admire the pettiness of not having subtitles. ( I am Petty Guerrero after all)
But do you know how many Jamaican songs I’ve heard and didn’t understand a damn thing?
How many songs I’ve heard in Japanese and just rocked because they was rockin?
And didn’t they say they “couldn’t understand” Kendrick last year?
The halftime show is not the end of the world. Sometimes you gotta let that rhythm take over. But look who I’m speaking about lol
Anyway. The one piece is real
@jakepaul shut your dumb ass up and just watch the show you fucking dweeb. PR should form their own ICE and kick you and your lame brother out asap ✌🏽Oh, and if you want to ‘support’ PR, then learn the language you bum
