@mwfoutch1 Started on Autocad not sure of the version in 1995. Then Alias Power Animator (became Maya) and then Multigen for flight and space simulation, then 3D Studio.
Retired that career in 2001. Loved every minute.
@mwfoutch1 Ive been using 4 of them for years in a grain tester that eats alkaline 9v daily. These last longer but voltage is slightly lower.
Good luck!
@MatthewCappucci@stormchaser0026 I have also used it to report rain, sleet, flooding, etc, hoping that it would help ground truth radar since I am over 100 miles from NWS radars. Guess I should buzz off?
Remove it from the app if you dont want reports.
@niteshad@OH8STN Im not completely sold on 18650s even though I have a pile of used cells. Mainly due to non-fused loose cells and voltages that aren't currently compatible with some other icom radios. However everything else I'm 100% in agreement, especially the wider voltage compatibility.
Reaching out to us on X is the worst way to request support. Sadly, we do not get notified every time someone mentions or DMs us. We have no control over that. I'm not saying X is the worst site we're on, but it is the least good. Email us at [email protected] instead.
Had a great WFD. 7 hours in 6 different locations didn't have to use any typical HF antennas. Started at -2F and ended in the dark at 5F.
Jumper cables, a autotuner, grain bins quick setup at each site.
Digital, Ph, all QRP contacts. 2m-80m. Couldn't find a 70cm contact.
@N3QEH Never heard of them not working in the cold but I only deal with Class 8 for the most part and it doesn't stay as cold here. DEF will freeze here but thaws out with the truck running.
