The concept of the superhero is something that at best, works for children stories. It was never meant to be an adult thing. It was never meant to create cultural phenomena and mythology around it.
It has been overexploited and abused.
But this just leaves me wondering, where do Superhero stories go after Invincible? Where is the new ground to be tread? We’ve hit a singularity point where everything seems to be varying degrees of Marvel slop. Where is the revolution? The new aesthetic? The new genre? 7/
By "most of the people who opposed to these problems" Patrick means hopeless boomercons that allowed these problems to grow and most will be out of the picture in a decade.
There's no reason to cater to their sensibilities.
The irony is that most of the people in America opposed to these problems love Jews & Israel.
Sure, American Jews lean left, which is a shame, but if you want to stop mass migration, anti-white and LGBT stuff, etc. complaining about Jews all day is objectively counterproductive.

@cyrus2049@UBERSOY1 They can put on a good show. Specially if it works for their subversive purposes. But in the fine arts in the classical sense, that relay on pure expressions of beauty, they are no where to be seen.
The art style combined with the incomprehensible plot line, violence and eroticism did something to a lot of people brain.
Probably not ideal to be exposed to that as a child, but it did help shape my aesthetic taste.
First time I watched Aeon Flux on MTV it felt like I discovered a parallel universe of alternative storytelling and aesthetics. My life changed and I have always wanted to feel that again.
This applies to most of Europe. They'd rather see their continent destroyed, than joining with people from two villages away.
Extremely provincial mindset.
@theneedledrop@basememesdude You understand absolutely nothing about those historical events other than the vague idea that they are bad based on Hollywood propaganda.
And "Canada's unmarked indigenous graves" was proved to be a hoax that resulted in violent attacks against christian churches.
Yeah, as a milleniool, I've accepted our generation is cooked and will probably never see mass prosperity. I'd be happy to sacrifice the little equity i own if it meant things are getting fixed for future generations.
