Nowhere in the primary classical texts is the practice of yoga or the guru-śiṣya relationship prohibited on the basis of caste (varṇa or jāti).

Guru Gorakhnath’s foundation was not caste specific but it wasn’t specifically against Manusmriti as it is fantastic historical Niyam(law) Guide.

#Manusmriti is not exclusively rigid about birth based caste: A key verse (10.65) states that a Shudra can attain the position of a Brahmana, and a Brahmana can sink to the level of a Shudra (and similarly for the other varnas) based on their karma.

Related verses (around 10.64) describe improvement or decline over successive generations (up to the seventh) through better or worse offspring and unions. This links status change to lineage quality over time rather than an individual’s single lifetime occupation alone.

All four varnas share basic ethical duties such as non-violence (ahimsa), truthfulness, non-stealing, purity, and sense control (10.63). In times of adversity (apad-dharma, discussed in Chapter 10), people may temporarily take up occupations outside their normal varna duties.

Nearly 87 million(8.7 crore) young Indians (ages 15 to 29) aren't in school, college, or any job right now.

Here is the complete picture

Majority (85%) of this Youth are Females(current and future housewives) nearly 7.4-7.7 crores.

15% are male (nearly 1-1.3 crore) with god knows under what category and circumstances.

Majority is by far is mostly women/girls occupied with domestic/household work, frequently tied to marriage and family responsibilities.

70-90 lakhs youth (15-29 year) are either physically handicapped or mentally challenged. Out of which nearly 20-27 lakhs are female rest are male.

And we have around 5 lakhs transgenders under 15-29 year age.
