@Staticasaurus@3amcards@nestapendragon No problem, the big reason for creatures in front of lamds in tournament play, from what i understand, is for coverage, watching it on stream its easier to follow a game if the usually more important pieces are all in the middle of the screen.
@Thaviel@UsagiKaede1 They said for Mizzix, so we're probably talking a lot of ways to cast from graveyard or move cards from graveyard to hand, like this one. Not actually going to get 4-0 but also the 1 or 2 sent to the yard won't stay there forever.
@UsagiKaede1 That said, while you don't have to follow MTR4.7 outside CompREL or ProREL, it's still a good idea and most players follow most of it already because that's how they learned to play and they're mostly common sense rules.
@UsagiKaede1 Judge here, this is only in the tournament rules at competitive level or above. Most people are playing at Regular REL, the JAR and CR say nothing about where these cards need to be.
@superfan983@UsagiKaede1 If playing in something that's bound by the MTR, you place it with your lands normally and move it to your creature area when it becomes a creature.
@Staticasaurus@3amcards@nestapendragon Judge here. There is a rule about it, but it's not in the CR. What you're talking about is MTR 4.7, which is in the Magic Tournament Rules, not the Comprehensive Rules. It also specifies this applies only to CompRel and above.
@nestapendragon The GP Lyon incident with this version of this card caused a change to the MTR requiring that creatures be separate from your lands, even if the creature is also a land
@MW4Liberty Literally most of us history has been using their guns to force those capitist "offers" from Operation Ajax when Iran wanted to keep its oil, to the Ludlow Massacre, to the be born rich, work forever or die that capitalism has baked in. But sure, keep believing it doesn't force.
@Brewers_Kitchen Im more looking at it for the cascade off wild-magic sorcerer, but thats mostly because my plan for capstone is putting it in a Prosper, Tome Bound commander deck.
@picador1138@OperaSocialist@Nigel_Farage The thing is it's not "the Jewish lobby" it's "the Israeli lobby" AIPAC is a massive problem and their loophole around FARA needs to be closed, but they are a lobby for a foreign nation, not a religious group, they just use that religious group as an accountability shield.
