with a exact definition and computation of Volatility, we show increasing volatility of extreme rainfall in the USA., with Dr @Ali_Sarhadii Sarhadi

COP30: DEADLY DOUBLE-CROSS DOOMSDAY DECISION
Worst-possible outcome. The COP30 text has no mention of fossil fuels, and ignores all the mitigation progress aspects of the COP28 (2023) agreement, including the AWAY FROM FOSSIL FUELS transition. The countries that called for a fossil fuel transition roadmap were double-crossed at the last minute, blocked by just six countries that demanded no fossil fuel mention.
Now 30 failed COPs, and wins for the fossil fuel industry.

Hey UTEP students! Upper division and graduate students in science and engineering, please consider taking this online class I am teaching next semester! It will be offered online. It's everything you ever needed to know and more about the science of deserts!
Very good advice for thesis advisors here. (I would tend more to the usage 'advised' or even 'guided', as opposed to 'supervised', but that's just me.)
Breaking News!
Code Yikes!
As of Sept. 19, the global temperature anomaly is once again 1.65°C over the pre-industrial baseline. The last time the planet was this overheated was late March.
The Climate 8-ball is going for a long walk with the Doom 9-ball to try and reconcile.
Flooding in North Plainfield, NJ, was yet another example of why tax dollars should be spent on infrastructure and not on harboring illegals.

Another day. Another flash flood—this time across New York and New Jersey.
Record rainfall in a short span overwhelmed streets, subways, and neighborhoods.
