@peaceskincare ..in public they can (and should) do the same with their partner instead of using it as a free pass. Understanding + support goes both ways. Partners can learn the cycle and help, but personal responsibility doesn’t disappear at home. Education helps both sides.
@peaceskincare Hormonal changes and PMS/PMDD are real progesterone shifts in the luteal phase can affect mood, irritability, and anxiety for many women. No one is denying the biology.
But the original point stands: if someone can regulate their behavior around bosses, coworkers, family, or ..
@peaceskincare@drace_mo Fair point. You shouldn’t have to wear the same professional mask with your partner.
But biology explains things, it doesn’t excuse treating your person like an emotional punching bag. Luteal phase shifts are real, yet plenty of women handle them without blowing up at home.
@numeroun0_@CorinParker Honestly I see both sides. Yes im a woman and I go through mood swings, understand me. On the other hand, you’re an adult. It’s time to take accountability for not being a good person. Learn to regulate it.
@XoXo_Shamontae@node_tech1@apluscvc@kainelll45856@numeroun0_@RAX6lade@thecurlysosa There’s absolutely nothing wrong with complaining & being cared for, it’s not easy for y’all & fact.
It’s also not an excuse to treat that one person who cares at that moment like they DO NOT worth shit !
Be respectful while at it, make lot of demands, but don’t be rude!
Shyness as a man has a very real price tag. The job you didn't go for. The girl you never approached. The room you walked into and stood quietly in the corner instead of owning. The friendship that never started because you waited for someone else to speak first. Nobody is coming to pull potential out of you. You have to put yourself forward. Confidence is not something you wait to feel — it's something you practice until it becomes you. Start talking. Start showing up. The opportunities won't wait.
As a young career person, move around.
Most times, new hires see up to 30% increase in pay while those doing the same job get around 2-5% raises.
Somehow, the system rewards movement.
