= Result gain in non-trained exercise / result gain in trained exercise
Finding these movements that transfer to multiple things has been a huge asset for our training programs.
It’s still important to hit the high transfer that only show up on 1-2 lists, but getting the most rewards should be the main goal.
It’s unfortunate and crushing when one of my athletes gets injured. The best thing I can do is learn something from it. Improve the process! Finishing up the next @RheaPerformance presentation ….injury risk reduction for athletes. Over 20 years of data and plenty of lessons learned.

Just finished recording an updated presentation on transfer, including updated transfer charts, for @RheaPerformance. Should be available early next week.
Based on the speed at which athletes are moving when injuries occur, or the amount time there is to enact a protective response, rate of force development is far more important than force development and systematic neuromuscular coordination of rate of force development trumps all.
