As @TAMULawSchool celebrates ten years of affiliation with @TAMU . Our talented faculty, staff, and students celebrate as only they Ken. (Oh, and it was also Constitution Day). https://t.co/z4O7tosGfj
The article I tooted about in the thread below is now available #OpenAccess on the journal's site. It explores the concept of #norms in #LegalArgumentation, refining the analytic tool of "#ArgumentSchemes".

All students come to law school with rich rhetorical experience, says @Rhetoricked of @TAMULawSchool in "Centering Students' Rhetorical Knowledge." The essay describes how peer review and classroom workshopping can help develop a community of inquiry: https://t.co/UVNwYIvcgf
Needing a Twitter/Mastodon pep talk.... I set up a Mastodon acct, have followed some folks and have some followers. I like the interactions on Mastodon better than on Twitter. But many folks I follow on Twitter to keep up with various things are not on Mastodon. 1/2
@millennialprof Engagement is so much higher over on #mastodon This post, for example, got lots of engagement and helpful suggestions there. Here, you are the only notice that it's gotten...
So... I'd rather not have to keep up on 2 SM platforms where before I kept up with only 1. Your thoughts on my choices: (a) Drop Twitter and risk missing out on stuff important to me? (b) Drop Mastodon and miss out on better experience? or (c) Keep both and just suck it up? 2/2

RT Plz! Howdy, #argumentation folks. If you have a Mastodon profile (whatever the instance) please reply here with your handle so I can follow you there. Indicate whether you want to be on this list, so that other #argumentation folks can find you: https://t.co/1gCHVQUpAA
@jnsheff Created a pre-approval account on https://t.co/vcamCAPmwS but didn’t put my school affiliation, so in case you are wondering who @rhetoricked is, it’s me. I crave external validation, so please approve my request to join the server.
@GoldbergPrime LOL: 5,5,4,4,4,3! I dont know whether I’m a ‘realist’ (because the meaning of that moniker is hard to pin down) but I’m not a determinist/formalist
@CJFerguson1111 @WFrancisEsq @GoldbergPrime Don’t overinterpret the “scientific” evidence. LSAT correlates to first-year LS grades, not to eventual success as a student or professional or value as a member of a democratic society.
@lufthansa Flt 582 FRA-CAI, 19 Nov: Really? Plane reminded me of a Yugo (no offense to Yugo). Terrible food (really terrible). Basic refreshments out of stock halfway thru flt. Checked bag soaking wet when we arrived; how long was it exposed on rainy tarmac in FRA?
@CasonSchmit, Hye-Chung Kum and I continue to recommend a focus on public health in government deliberations on data privacy, this time in a comment on the FTC's advance notice of proposed rulemaking on commercial surveillance and data security practices (ANPR) 1/x
4) require regulated commercial data collectors to disclose to data subjects that their data may be used for research or public health purposes. And 5) not require individuals to opt in to public health data uses. 5/X
