Aku setuju dengan Azrul dalam bab ni. Dalam banyak-banyak subsidi, gula la sepatutnya tak perlu untuk kita teruskan. Ironi betul, dari satu sudut KKM terpaksa berhabis bilion ringgit untuk merawat penyakit kronik.

Bukan rahsia lagi negara kita Malaysia pegang rekod yang sangat membimbangkan di Asia Tenggara dalam penyakit tidak berjangkit (NCD) akibat gaya hidup dan pemakanan.

Laporan Tinjauan Kebangsaan Kesihatan dan Morbiditi (NHMS) 2023 oleh KKM pun dedahkan seramai 54.4% orang dewasa di Malaysia ada masalah berat badan berlebihan & obesiti. Maksudnya 1 daripada 2 rakyat kita terdedah kepada pelbagai risiko penyakit.

Tak tahulah apa pihak pemerintah fikir. Tapi pengekalan gula sebagai barangan subsidi bukanlah jaga kebajikan rakyat, tapi sebenarnya kita subsidikan penyakit yang akhirnya akan membebankan sistem kesihatan kita yang dah sedia tenat.

Boys thought their friend groups were so much easier and the whole time it's because they weren't correcting each other's bad
