WAY FORWARD WITH THE RALLY/WALK
This is not just a social media propaganda we are damn serious because change starts with you and I.
The meeting point for the rally /walk is the NMCN office in Abuja
Our dress code: Scrub, wear your scrubs pls if you don’t have you can go and buy and if you’re not on it you won’t be permitted to partake in it. We are professionals so we should dress like one. There’s a WhatsApp link to the google form for you to sign if you would like to take part in the rally.( I would drop that later). Pls this is not a child’s play if you know you wouldn’t be attending pls and pls don’t fill the form. This will also give us an estimate as to how many nurses we are expecting and how we can arrange for their refreshments.
For the rally, We will be inviting ARISE TV station to cover it and for them to come we have to pay them and it will be televised live on all social media platforms like instagram, Facebook, YouTube etc.
We will print banners and placards with our requests boldly written on them.
This is where we need your financial support from our colleagues in diaspora and those at home. As we all know to invite TVC is not a walk in the park it involves a lot of money we cannot it alone.

Registered nurses'salary in Nigeria is about 20k to 40k in most private hospitals.

Quacks have taken over the system, and a lot of professional nurses are unemployed. The NMCN has done nothing to improve the nursing practice, safe patient care, and the lives of nurses.

Nigerian nurses now have to pay huge money to be indexed, get licensed, and certified.

Now rumours have it that nurses will have to cough up 300k before they can get that same license verified. This means they can jot further their career if they can not afford that!!
