I hope to bring some of the @UniteThePoor@RhodeIslandPPC values, priorities, influence into my campaign for state rep, District 37 Westerly, and hopefully into my public service.
Planning to check in live while I'm there. My live stream was not working from this location.

@tanzister That is exactly the position the Rhode Island Poor People's Campaign takes in the testimony it submitted on the RIPTA funding joint resolution that was heard this week https://t.co/4RKdD9Pgjy
Because of expected rain, the 11 am event, originally planned at the State House, will be held at Gloria Dei, 15 Hayes St., Providence. The march planned before that will make a u-turn to return to the church.
Rhode Island: 10 AM gather at Gloria Dei, 15 Hayes St. The location of the 11 AM assembly is to be determined. State House weather permitting or Gloria Dei in case of rain possibly with a march at 10:45 AM with or without U-turn, depending on the destination.
We’ve come too far to turn around & let our voices be silenced. On March 2, in 32+ states & D.C., poor & low-wage workers, religious leaders & advocates are coming together to make our voices heard & show our collective power. Learn more: https://t.co/qPmQeVoMlo
JAMA: "Renters who received eviction filings experienced substantial excess mortality associated with the COVID-19 pandemic." The victims have no names, no faces and no stories. Same for poverty killing 800 people on an average US day.
Policy murder we write. cc @UniteThePoor
