This, I think, might be very welcome for folks configuring GA4 Ecommerce through #GoogleTagManager.
*Finally* you can load the Ecom payload directly from dataLayer (if you follow the GA4 schema) or using a custom object (e.g. custom JS variable or custom variable template)!
Tag Coverage has now been released in #GoogleTagManager to follow Google Tag's lead.
It proactively suggests pages to monitor for GTM snippet placement, and you can also upload a CSV of all your site pages.

Data Studio rolled out some nice GA4 improvements.
You can easily switch between multiple GA4 properties. In addition, sub-properties and roll-ups in GA4 360 are also now available.
The new "Google Tag" has now officially been released. It's a way to control all Google's tagging products from one centralized location.

The Google Optimize integration for GA4 has been updated to allow you to now select any event as a conversion.
Currently, it doesn't auto-populate the event names for you, so hopefully, there's another update coming for that soon.

Google has a preview of the new "Google Tag" in their GA4 demo account that they announced at Google Marketing Live in May.
Anyone using the gtag.js version of tags for Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc will soon receive new functionality. (No retagging is necessary)
How to ease the transition to GA4:
✅ Look to GA4 for answer first
✅ Try rebuilding a UA report in GA4
✅Practice making a custom report
It won't feel natural at first, but the more you practice, the more intuitive it will get.
"What are custom events?" is a question I've been asked a lot recently at @ClickyMedia. If you tie that into the recent news about Universal Analytics (UA) due to be sunsetted in July 2023 and the events setup in GA4... custom events just become highly relevant.
With @googleanalytics sunsetting UA in favour of GA4, it's even more important to ensure you have custom event tracking in place before the big change! Find out more about custom events here 👉 https://t.co/wJMEerVzBA
GA4 is the new hot. Or the new not. Depends on who you ask 🤷♀️
Regardless of where you stand though, here are 10 reasons why you should implement GA4 today, 🧵
Yesterday, Google announced that Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits on July 1st 2023. This means now is definitely the time to get your #GA4 properties setup and ready!

Server-side #GoogleTagManager now updated to serve Google dependencies *completely* from the server endpoint. That includes gtag.js, analytics.js, gtm.js and any plugins (e.g. ec.js) that they use AND Zones.
