5. @currys Given that a) I wasn't told about the unusual policy in purchase, b) the item is packaged as bought, c) the item was never in display for me to inspect, can you do anything about this? It seems unfair and unjust @CitizensAdvice@BBCOne#ripoffbritain
3.@currys I tried to reason with staff but they flat out refused to speak to me. When I bought the monitor without seeing it, I was not old that simply opening the box would void my ability to bring it back. What's more, staff happily told me that if I'd bought it online...
2. @currys I repacked it exactly as it was and tried to return it, only to be shown a poster on the wall and told they wouldn't not accept it because I'd opened the box, which was bizarre as it was packed exactly as it was except for the cellotape being cut.
1. @currys purchased a monitor last week from my local store. The monitor was not on display so I wasn't able to inspect it. I also purchased it from a till in the middle of the store. I took it home, looked at it and realised it wouldn't fit in my office.
@currys@Mystery__Travel Did Currys resolve this for you? I've just had a very similar, equally ridiculous block at my local Currys store. I was gob smacked, unlike any other standard retailer!
