@nateliason Lol this tweet is especially ironic because they told me they couldn’t turn the car around and I said oh well that’s not good because my infant is inside and they still couldn’t send it back to me (there was no baby)
@TrungTPhan I sell the underground containers that were apart of the study! If you want to learn more about why NYC, other cities, and haulers are worried about these I’m happy to share https://t.co/uvGmwp0hZj
@jobforphilly @YaFavTrashman I sell the underground containers! You’d be surprised at our prices compared to Big Belly and competitors.. shoot me a dm if you ever want more info
@RecycleKing4evr@mphelpsm@jshgdmn@NYCSanitation NYCHA just announced their agreement today with our competitor to start a pilot program. You’ll see these very soon in cities across the US https://t.co/I2rgCyDLZi
@RecycleKing4evr Yeah 100s of thousands in Europe for the last 10-20 years. I have 2 installed at our CT headquarters but working on getting the ball rolling with other installations around the US currently. Biggest challenge here is hauler support..
@dylan_j_kennedy@MarketUrbanism@ebottcher I appreciate that! Above ground for ease of installation. I’d love to see underground units in the city, but unfortunately no one really knows what’s underground lol. We have a semi-underground unit that I think will be a great hybrid solution later on.
@dylan_j_kennedy@MarketUrbanism@ebottcher NYCHA is working to launch a pilot program right now. We have over 100,000 containers worldwide and submitted a great proposal for above ground containers! https://t.co/uvGmwp0POR
@Chris_1791@fasc1nate You’d be surprised! I work with a Dutch company and we offer these in the US. Lots of cities are moving toward the idea right now 🤷🏻♂️
A few weeks ago I posted about the underground trash containers for Philly. A lot of people were interested. So I’m excited to announce that I’ll be having a conversation with the company that makes them on zoom. Please join us and bring your questions. Link will be posted soon.
Hey Philadelphia, for the last few months, I’ve been doing a lot of research on these trash containers. If there was a way to bring these containers to Philadelphia, would you want them? I think ima do a poll tomorrow on this…
@TwoMartinisPls @dtloken@NormalTater @lukesbishop @m5rk@kduggan16 Several cities already have trucks that are compatible.. Share it with your local officials and see what they say!
