IHSG anjlok bahkan hari ini trading halt...
Biangnya adalah masih soal free float
MSCI masih ragu tentang saham di RI Krn banyak saham di BEI secara teknis tercatat, tapi secara praktik sulit diperdagangkan secara bebas.

Dana di Indeks MSCI itu sangat besar bisa trilyunan dollar
Banyak saham Indonesia tidak cukup free float untuk menyerap dana sebesar itu
Kalau dipaksakan masuk, harga bisa melonjak tidak wajar jika hal ini ditakutkan jika modal keluar pasar bisa ambruk (mudah goyah)

MSCI meragukan free float saham Indonesia karena:
Kepemilikan saham terlalu terkonsentrasi
Free float kecil dan tidak aktif diperdagangkan
Risiko perlakuan tidak adil ke investor minoritas
Tidak sebanding dengan kebutuhan dana global
Likuiditas riil lebih kecil dari angka di atas kertas

Fyi free float di Indonesia masih kecil menurut aturan OJK free float minimal 7,5 persen, tapi MSCI menganggap angka tsb terlalu kecil utk pasar yang ingin dikategorikan emerging market besar.

Itulah mengapa kmrn Menkeu selaku ketua KSSK sudah berkoordinasi dgn OJK utk membahas hal ini....
