Calling All Volunteers!!! @RibbitNetwork is recruiting volunteers to join the Core Team and we want you! Please retweet and share with anyone you might know that is interested in joining a 501(c)(3:) nonprofit building open-source tech for climate. See thread for details ⬇️🧵:
It's easy to build your own Frog Sensor for Climate.
One of the Ribbit Network community members made this video showing just how easy the electronics are to put together.

@sircoolio @Disquisitioner@adafruit Nice prototype! Have you seen @RibbitNetwork? Hoping to collaborate on creating the world’s largest dataset of greenhouse gas data.
Our last session of Impact Summit Day 1 is @KeenanJohnson's demo! Keenan is the founder of @RibbitNetwork, and he'll be sharing how to build an open-source IoT greenhouse gas sensor:

3.The last 100 days has seen a lot of focus on #MRV and what better way to learn than to build a CO2 monitor? Yes, I did using the @RibbitNetwork open source platform! So cool. They’re normally green but I decided I wanted mine to look like a Strawberry Poison Dart Frog. 😉 /7
Using our #BeagleBone® Green Gateway Dev Board, @RibbitNetwork has made 'Frogs' - a small, cute, and open-source #sensor box that measures #CO2 in the atmosphere - with which @KeenanJohnson has become a @balena_io Hub, Challenge Winner👉https://t.co/sPOlsf5kfQ
@RibbitNetwork is the largest network of open-source, low-cost, CO2 detection sensors. These sensors will upload their data to the cloud, creating the world’s most complete Greenhouse Gas dataset built by citizen scientists everywhere.
I’m interested! What do I do?
Send an email to [email protected] and let us know what position you are interested in and why! Reach out to the same email with any questions! Also, feel free to respond to this thread with any questions and we will respond soon! ⬇️🧵:
