@MacticsG1 We've entered the AI era of cheat programs. Only real change would come with an online identification system required for games which nobody would be excited adopting, or burying cheating companies in lawsuits which doesn't always work if they are based in foreign countries.
@RyanFairclough6@GernaderJake Bungie has a long history of filing lawsuits against cheating companies. The rest of the studios have to follow suit though to make a real impact.
@GernaderJake Basically the reason I avoided Marathon. Cheating situation was so bad in Trials and now Bungie expects me to believe it will be different with a game where your loot is on the line? They might be quick with updates but I think when it comes to cheating they're just incompetent.
@A_dmg04 Ttk is so fast in the game it's hard to take the risk of asking someone if they're friendly. Everyone just shoots first because you can melt someone before they have a chance to react.
@gbtradmoul@rawsalerts The majority of gun crime is committed by guns acquired illegally. You think banning firearms will stop criminals from acquiring them?
@Kia_Worldwide Buying a KIA was the worst mistake I've ever made. I think it's spent more time in the shop than on the road. On my third engine now. Don't buy a KIA.
@GeneralMCNews "The CDC now admits there is limited science behind the claim that hamburgers do not cause autism." You can swap hamburgers for any word your finger lands on in the dictionary and the statement will likely still be true.
@MacticsG1 Considering activity Deltas are agnostic of power level, what's the difference between leveling to 550 to enter a -30 activity and just allowing people to enter it at any point? Either issue rewards based on activity difficulty or based on time invested, not both for no reason.
@DestinyTheGame I was pretty excited to try out the new subclass changes this week. Then I logged in and realized I need like 150k unstable cores to bring my gear up to level. It's like the design of the game is actively trying to make people quit at this point.
@MacticsG1@jpenumbra If someone spits in your burger six days in a row should you praise them on the day they decide not to? I'm not saying this isn't a good change, I'm just saying it shouldn't be that hard to understand the negative sentiment.
@oitzmojo@Pastuleo23@A_dmg04 You could grant access to end game -30 delta activities at the start of the season for T5 loot and the difficulty will be the same as after spending 100 hours grinding to 550. Power exists only as a time gate and a resource sink for unstable cores. This is why they are unpopular
@SaltagreppoD2@DaToby98 So what you're saying is power level is an arbitrary time gate simply existing to prolong the time before you can earn T5 gear. And that's a good thing? Having a Delta cap alongside a power level for portal activities makes no sense.
@A_dmg04 TLDR: Power level is arbitrary and difficulty is set by Delta cap. You could grant everyone access to Ultimate difficulty regardless of power level and they would have the same experience at -30 power. Power level only exists now as a time and resource sink for unstable cores.
@A_dmg04 I hope I'm understanding this wrong because if I'm not there's going to be big backlash when the community jumps into these activities and realizes that their power is arbitrary and they're locked into Delta capped activities that were harder than before for the same rewards.
@squarebump44@MAGAVoice A TV show expressing an opinion is protected speech and is not considered a campaign contribution. Even politically slanted news reporting is protected speech. The onus is on you, the viewer, to decide whether something is false or carries a bias.
@DestinyTheGame These small band-aid fixes aren't going to harbor any good will with the community. If you want to bring players back we need sweeping changes to the power leveling and portal experience. Nobody cares about a +1 becoming a +2 when people are giving up before they hit 300.
