@gjyuhas @HockeyStatMiner We will have a system now with Sully. Key is not consistent enough to be a real difference maker. Certainly not worth $7.5m. Half the player Gavrikov is. Missed the playoffs because of collective misery. The problems are gone now. Last year was an outlier.

@610Barstool I don’t think two late 2025 first round prospects are gonna be viewed as highly at the deadline as a 2026 1st round pick where a team gets to make the selection themself in a v deep draft. Alternately need a 2026 1st to sign an offer sheet. Either way, they’re not drafting

@HockeyStatMiner Yea I don’t think they have any intention of using the 2026 pick. It’s being sent for an offer sheet or used in a trade at the 2026 deadline. The FO is planning on a bounce back like 94.

@RigasTimothy @610Barstool I used Evolving Wilds Contract projections. JJ doesn’t have arbitration rights yet so he has no leverage. He also didn’t have the playoff stats that Wyatt did. And Byram is an rfa still so he doesn’t really get a say in where he plays yet either.

@610Barstool You know I’ve been trying to speak this into existence for too long. Laf, Schneids, 2025 1st (keep it to trade it) for Peterka and Byram with matching 5x6m deals. Then find takers for Soucy and Kreider and sign Bennett to 7x7 and Perbix to 4x3m and this team is cooking
