40 years after Chornobyl, I’m in Kyiv for talks with @ZelenskyyUa and traveling to Chornobyl to honour those who gave their health and lives for Europe.
Disasters know no borders — neither should solidarity. Moldova stands with those who build, not destroy.
@FleurAgemaPVV Fixed it!
Iets waar Fortuyn zich destijds al heel boos over maakte, is sindsdien alleen maar erger geworden.
Ondanks de beloftes van daaropvolgende kabinetten, dat ze dit zouden 'aanpakken'!
Zorgmanagers, casemanagers, malafide zorgkantoren enz.
Dus niet, de gewone zorgmedewerker
If I were to describe the full extent of russian brutality, I would be banned by this platform. So, I am just going to leave the text from one of my acquaintances:
“Met a doctor in Kyiv that has been working in the liberated areas of Kherson that Russians occupied for 7 months.
She said, they had little girls that had been so brutally sexually assaulted that there is no longer a separation between anus and vagina. As doctors they had never seen anything like it and there is nothing they can do to help.
When some in the West say Ukraine should surrender, this is what we'd be surrendering to.”
16-year-old Yuriy and his father were cycling to Bucha with food for elderly people when a Russian soldier stopped them.
He shot Yuriy’s father, then Yuriy several times. Yuriy reached for his father in a pool of blood. The soldier shot him again and left him for dead. Yuriy survived, The Independent. 1/
🚨 BREAKING: Tens of Israeli settler terrorists are attacking the Christian village of Taybeh in the West Bank right now, attempting to break into Palestinian homes.
Residents are trying to stop them and are calling on nearby villages for help.

What a wonderful and touching gesture.
Arianna Hamilton lost her job at Burger King after taking a stand and saying, “Free Palestine.”
The people of Palestine painted a mural in her honor, celebrated her, and thanked her for standing with them.
Lest we forget: March 13, 2022.
Around 120 Ukrainian children were hiding in a shelter in Mariupol.
They were scared. They were begging for help.
No one came to save them.
Then russian bombs hit the shelter.
We still don’t know if any of them survived.
We owe them justice.
@elevchenko@WNLVandaag Helemaal met je eens Evgeniy, alleen jammer dat je altijd je mening geeft nadat zo ongeveer iedereen al zijn of haar zegje er over gedaan heeft.
Mag iets alerter wat mij betreft.
Russia's "children's rights" commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova kidnapped 15-year-old Pylyp Holovnia from Mariupol in 2022. She moved him first to occupied Donetsk, then to the Moscow region, and adopted him.
Now she posts proud footage of the boy, renamed Philipp, standing beside her as she announces his enrollment in the first year at Kutafin Moscow State Law University. She wants him to become a prosecutor.
His mother died when he was 11. He had a legal guardian back in Mariupol.
Lvova-Belova herself admitted the teenager wanted to go home. He followed Ukrainian news and sang Ukrainian songs.
So they had to "change his attitude" toward Russia. This is textbook cultural genocide wrapped in a family photo op.
The ICC has already issued an arrest warrant for her over the systematic deportation of Ukrainian children. One day Pylyp will learn the full truth.
I hope he uses that law degree to put the woman who stole his life behind bars.
🔴 Official reports confirm Russian forces executed over 300 surrendered Ukrainian troops and killed hundreds more in captivity.

A few days ago, a russian official in Canada went viral after popping blue and yellow balloons hanging on a pole near the russian Embassy.
Canadians took that personally.
Now the entire pole is covered in blue and yellow balloons.
This is absolutely brilliant.
You pop two Ukrainian balloons, you get a hundred more.
A perfect way to troll the russian embassy and remind those russian thugs that intimidation doesn’t work in a free world.
