@TheBreakdownAB At least change is being made to the current paper cards. In 2015 in an Auditor General report, it warned that the current paper cards posed a high fraud risk by not having expiry dates. The NDP government at the time chose not to do anything about it. https://t.co/NpoAkeCi2h
@GasPriceWizard What about Cochrane AB? Still selling at 189.9 despite the drops around the area last week. 10 min east of town on the edge of Yyc it’s 163.9! Big difference!
@JohnMar41690080@TheBreakdownAB I’m fully aware. They still hold some seats in legislator. My point is an elected MLA with the NDP is also facing a recall announced on the same day and the post only indicates one out of 2 new ones that were announced. Plus Guthrie isn’t UCP
@TheBreakdownAB Let the petition play out as intended. The forever Canada petition was completed. Even if you went off their question on a referendum, it would be a yes or no answer. It’s called a democracy, everyone gets to vote one way or the other if they choose.
@GasPriceWizard FYI Calgary stations are increasing to 152.9 today. (Based on posted prices). Are they increasing their retail margins too as the prediction on https://t.co/BHeljkG1PX shows 146.9? Thx for the work you do and the heads up provided!
@TheBreakdownAB Was it treason when Quebec held referendums and had representatives meeting with Americans?
Or does the "treason" label only apply when Albertans want Independence?
@Medeakg@TheBreakdownAB Montana is comparable to Alberta and has a speed limit of 80mph. I have spent time in the Alps and there’s highways there that are 130km/hr. Could always trial digital speed signs here like highway 5 in BC which is 120km/hr & changes based on conditions.
@TheBreakdownAB Bc has had a120km limit on hwy 5 since 2014. Seems to be working for them. That being said they have digital signs and adjust the max speed based on road conditions
