Kevin Love breaks down his game winning stop on Steph Curry in game 7 of 2016:
“I tell people all the time I blacked out…. I just forced him into a tough shot. People want to say it was this great stop. I was like I have to stay down and force him into a tough shot… I made a great play. But ‘biggest defensive play in finals’ like Bron just had the greatest defensive play in history. It’s on the Mount Rushmore of any sport”

I'll just keep reminding people that they don't need to create "room" to pay Watson. They have Bird Rights and they aren't currently hard-capped. They're just trying to avoid a huge tax bill, which is an enormously lame thing to do when you have a three-time MVP in his prime.
Koby Altman on James Harden:
“We’re hopeful he comes back and we have a full training camp with him. We didn’t trade for MVP Harden, we traded for a Harden at the end of his career that transformed himself to one of the best PGs in the league. We’re not in the ECF without him.”
Memphis traded Jaren Jackson Jr. for a package that included a 2027 first-round pick from the Jazz that could theoretically be the No. 1 pick. That was part of the trade. And the NBA just undid it less than four months later. Now it can't even be in the top five.
Ridiculous.
Dwyane Wade on why they lost to the Mavs in the 2011 NBA Finals👀
“This is a very good Dallas Mavericks team…Jason Terry probably could’ve been Finals MVP outside of Dirk…Bron had to guard JT — Bron can guard almost anybody but it’s hard to guard the dude moving all-around…we had a team that was still trying to find our identity…you talking about a young Miami Heat team trying to figure it all out with Spo being 3 years on the sideline. Let’s not act like we were supposed to win that finals. Yes — we thought we were going to win it because that’s how cocky people say we were…we did crumble in game 2 because we wasn’t battle tested yet…Mavs had one of the greatest players of all time — like Dirk is one of the greatest to ever touch a basketball so he wasn’t go nowhere…”

Dwight Howard says the Lakers team that won the chip felt shafted when they broke the team up, because they had a three-year run in them Rashad says that team was loaded LeBron James, Rajon Rondo, Anthony Davis, JaVale McGee, etc
The provision in here stating that the Grizzlies, who have the most favorable first of UTA/MIN/CLE next year, would not be able to pick in the top-5 if it was Utah highest because Utah has picked in the top-5 each of the last two seasons is LUDICROUS.
Aya Tanjali, 19, speaks out after Adrien Broner, 36, inappropriately touched her on stream, saying it’s the first time something like this has ever happened to her.
The passion oozing out of this man because he has spent his entire career protecting the mark on his team in ways nobody stepped up for Harden is killing me.
Friendly reminder that Michael Jordan literally BEGGED the NBA to not allow zone defenses
Then he fled the league once he realized his numbers were dropping lmao
This is your GOAT? 🤣😂
I’ve been telling the truth about Donovan Mitchell for the past two years.. and I’ve been called everything but right… cause I am!
He’s just NOT a no. 1! The Knicks really kept the same coverage all game, it didn’t work on James Harden, the Cavs got into a really Good Rhythm with Harden initiating.
Soon as D Mitch turn came to take them home… IT GOT UGLY!!
#Cavs HC Kenny Atkinson on his conversation with James Harden following Game 1 against the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals:
“Without you, we were knocked out in the first round, that’s first. Let’s just stop there. We’re in a great position, you’ve played great, and sometimes micro experiences get exaggerated. Just keep being yourself.”
Atkinson also defended James, praising him as a strong isolation defender.
