I’m probably more excited about this than I should be, but I don’t care. As of today, I'm officially a contributor to Hermes, and it feels good!

Last week, I kept losing completed work from async agents after long conversations compressed. The agent had done the work, but the result never reached me. So KITT (my security agent, yes, named after Knight Rider) and I dug through the gateway, found what was happening, wrote the fix and tests, and I opened a pull request.

The @NousResearch team took the core fix, hardened it, preserved my authorship, and merged it today. (Big thank you for preserving the credit and improving the original fix instead of replacing it. <3 )

Seeing my name on a commit in Hermes’ main branch means a lot to me. I use it every day, feels good to give back!

Thank you @Teknium and everyone who reviewed and improved the fix. I’m proud of my first open-source contribution.

Now OpenAI keeps passing me off and I’m ready to go back to Anthropic.
