@Yankeelibrarian I felt the same about Kep but his spray chart has peaked my interest. Not only does he hit the ball hard, walk, and have a low k% but looks like he can be a big benefactor of the shift elimination. Tons of outs in his spray chart in the hole between 1st and second.

If Judge is really gone Yankees should not throw money around on what’s left in this free agent class just to save face. There is no counter move that offsets losing Judge. Save and make a real run at Ohtani or Soto.

@pamsson Do the 9th yr. Everyone assumes those last few years will be rough and they may be. That’s a risk that they will need to take but there are the David Ortiz’s and Nelson Cruz’s out there that were elite through their 40 season.

Will probably cost him 100 million if he wants Judge back. Then he wasted 25 on Donaldson. He can’t be cost conscious and also be pleased with Cashman.
