Trump has repeatedly betrayed our Ukrainian allies in recent days. Then, he launched a concerted smear campaign against President Zelenskyy, claiming that Putin is "easier to deal with."

The betrayals escalated when Washington failed to provide its customary early warning to Kyiv regarding an imminent Russian ballistic missile attack. Now, it appears the White House has ordered a temporary suspension of Starshield—a military version of Elon Musk’s Starlink, upon which the Ukrainian armed forces rely.

"The throttling of Starlink/Starshield and the inexplicable failure to provide advance warning of Russian missile launches have already led to the needless deaths of Ukrainian civilians," Branson wrote. "How much worse can it get?" "If one thing is clear, it’s that European leaders must move past the initial shock of Trump’s recent actions and step up. This is as much about European freedom as it is about Ukraine’s sovereignty. Both are worth fighting for," he continued. "Every option should now be on the table—from transferring frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, to delivering advanced weapons systems like the German Taurus."

"Why, oh why, is this happening? We cannot allow the free world to be dismantled before our very eyes," Branson concluded.

We couldn’t agree more. Trump is an enemy of Ukraine, an enemy of democracy, and an enemy of the American people. When the Democrats regain power, we will have a major task ahead of us. Every trace of this monstrous man’s legacy must be erased.

It seems to me that somebody should be taking control of the reins and actively driving these Neanderthals back into the caves they used to inhabit.

It seems to me that there should be some top-down leadership to stamp this out for good.

When we've got elected councillors such as George Madgwick in Portsmouth, spending his entire life online trying to whip up angry mobs — and succeeding — where does it end?

Yesterday in Dover and Gosport, angry mobs were screaming racial slurs into the darkness. A group of men ambushed a taxi driver by draping a racist banner across his car.

And that was on Sunday.

Today, Tice and Oakshott are out to demonise the RNLI. Again. They are fully complicit in this rising tide of hatred.

But where does it stop? How long does the government stand by and allow this tidal wave of racism to exist, without acting?

This is no longer an online echo chamber issue. There are real-world dangers involved. When will the first attacks begin?

Because then it's too late.

I urge Andy Burnham to take action. Now.

I'm going to report this factually because none of this is good.

Last night around 300 anti-migrant protestors rioted in Gosport. There was significant violence and abuse against police officers, they also threw screws and nails in the road, along with creating barricades preventing police from ultimately leaving the scene.

There were 16 arrests.

Amongst all this, another 149 undocumented migrants arrived in the UK, were processed and taken to the migrant centre in Margate.

The security operation, which was only necessary because of the protestors, cost the UK taxpayer over £200,000.

None of this above is acceptable or exusable. Using violence and intimidation is not an acceptable form of protest. And we absolutely need to find long-term solutions to prevent undocumented migrants being able to leave France and arrive on small boats, as since Brexit we have no legal method of returning them to their point of origin.

Nigel Farage is a clear and present threat to the security of the United Kingdom.

Security Services need to have a quiet word in his ear before he causes a serious incident.

Clearly, he is desperate — Reform UK are failing he's now appearing on far-right US conspiracy shows ... making up scenarios to push his anti-immigration lies.

I'm deadly serious when I say he's a threat to national security.

Let's imagine, for one second, that he is right about the RAF Fairford incident — he is now broadcasting potential ideas for terrorists, literally helping them in their cause.

Farage should be shut down before he does any more damage to our country.
