I've noticed that in the Roe v Wade debate, people are using the extreme cases of rape, incest and birth defects to justify all the procedures that occur when something abnormal DID NOT occur.

There’s a stark difference between biblical Christianity and Christianity that’s merely a brand of conservatism or progressivism.

The former is rooted in the Bible & controlled by Gospel imperatives. The latter seeks ideological ends & uses the Bible as a secondary source.

Be careful when someone emphasizes their position in the church before stating what THEY have always believed NOT what God’s Word says.

They’ve sacrificed moral credibility to accrue power and used their religious position as cover for an agenda.

A Christian leader should never use their position to put the Church’s stamp on the entire progressive or conservative social agenda.

It might be rewarded with resources & influence, but there’s no honor in it. It’s better to suffer as Amos than to thrive as Amaziah the Priest.
