@ChiefsInsider Interesting but, I disagree. Patrick is the future, re-sign or trade Brown, the priority remains LT. With Karlaftis, I don’t think we need to go premium on Edge. Sign a rotational defender sentimentality, says “Houston”. If not there are multiple rushers who can fill the role.
@JordanTribe_ @ArrowheadPride Absolutely, 2 high pushed us into a west coast O, negating speed and pointed out we had no real #3. No one WR can replace Hill but, Juju, MVS, Kelce, Hardman and a true #1 will force defenses to pick a poison. Reid, loves his RB’s to fit a role, and they do. Balanced, better.
@SpcMtn @thekyliemanning Agreed. No one player can replace Hill but, give Reid and Mahomes a shiny brand new receiver room. 💥 Crazy offense will happen. Besides last season proved 2-high was a speed limit, it forced us back into a traditional offense. Veach let Miami give away the house.
@bkmccallumart @mattderrick True, since Mahomes salary jumps. Younger and cheaper, keeps him surrounded with talent. Once you’re firmly seated as the “Championship Gateway”, players will come to you, some even on the cheap. Glory, is what started their dreams. Once the bills are paid, it’s time to shine.
@Short58C@ChiefsInsider I think, they are including him either as a starting RT or line depth. We need back up linemen on the right since I think Niang is the only RT listed (qualifier I said, “think”).
@ChiefsInsider 💯 Ingram brought an energy that was lacking, not to mention as a pass rusher you can’t beat him as a mentor. If Fish comes for RT money, bring him. Barkley, I’m not certain. I agree the upside but, has he shown more durability than what we have?
@ChrisRPhillips@ChiefsInsider I think Gordon’s going to surprise this season. Last year he contributed to the run game as a blocker. With the defenses we’ll see this year, I am expecting a return to West-coast type offense. Which will fit in with Gordon’s ability to catch, and his willingness to block.
