@DavidTCDavies Why should it just be outside schools, our kids walk/ride on local roads to get to school. Also about 20mph creating more emissions is inaccurate, what have you compared this to, if 30mph, you haven't factored in the emissions it takes to get up to 30mph. Disappointed
@Bluebird4D@WGTransport That figure is far too basic. For eg you haven't factored in the energy consumption it takes to accelerate up to 20 when compared to 30. There's plenty of studies and evidence online regarding this which may help you revise it.
@PaulMatthews67@AllistairMcCaw I have to disagree with some of these, acknowledging that context is everything, creating a culture of always giving more, doesn't always mean you get more, and the cost to the person, expected to keep up, can be incredibly harmful leading to low energy, burn out, retention probs.
@EmmaBryn6@MonmouthshireCC From Usk bridge, through Usk island (unsurfaced), under railway bridge alongside field (stoned path) into small copse, by berthin brook, little path to left that cones out at the incredible edible garden.
@EmmaBryn6@MonmouthshireCC Alt route in green via old Usk railway station, all pretty good surface underfoot that way. Or walk up road to the small Usk island car park and cut to the railway bridge.
@EmmaBryn6@MonmouthshireCC There used to be a college bus (only at start/end) that goes all the way. Else there is a very nice walk along the river, with a connection into county hall.
@EmmaBryn6 I usually use Traveline Cymru https://t.co/LrONy7o4mH to check times as bus stops in Monmouthshire frequently are out of date or missing. Believe there's a disconnect on whose responsibility it is to update them. ๐
