NEW: VP Harris to @rolandsmartin this AM on Trump:
"His staff won't let him do a 60 Minutes interview...he will not debate me again...he won't put out his medical records...Why is his staff doing that? And it may be because they think he's just not ready. And unfit & unstable."
We may have taken the World Series in 1975 but Luis Tiant shut us out in Game 1 and threw another complete game victory in Game 4. He meant so much to the Red Sox organization, baseball certainly lost another icon. My condolences to his family and the Boston fans.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Luis Tiant.
Anyone who met him, on or off the mound, knew he was a true force. A fixture of Fenway and Fort Myers well beyond his playing days, El Tiante was family.
We send our love to his wife, Maria, their children, and grandchildren.
