Almost none of them are actually quantum safe. QRL and Cellframe use the same cryptography today that is proposed for Bitcoin (QRL uses a slightly different hash system XMSS not SPHINCS). There is also an older premined coin fork of Litecoin called TideCoin that uses FALCON (also suggested for BIP). QRL is working on a new version ZOND with web3 that uses 1 of the 12 crypto systems available in Cellframe (CRYSTALS-Dilithium). I'm working on adding web3 to CRYSTALS-Dilithium also (not listing my token here, zero self promotion).
The quantum narrative needs a lot of pruning.
Migration, often with lies about safety: ALGO (honest but slow), HBAR (lies and damn lies), CKD (testnet, partial design).
Complete false narrative, code clearly not quantum safe despite marketing:

The sooner BTC starts work on quantum safety the less scams and forks we will see. The slower BTC is on adopting the narrative, the more the narrative takes on a life of its own. Best choice is BTC adopt BIP and begin work *even if it isn't merged* so that there is less BS scams, along with continued tech bank and govt support (they have PQ requirements handed by Govt).

I appear to be on a soap box, no vitriol intended at you but this is something I'm passionate about.

I have not written any papers, I am trying to expose people to how rapidly the space is moving. Bitcoin Core Devs and many others are held back by inertia, misconceptions, inappropriate timelines, underestimating migration complexity, etc.

We need Bitcoin to survive. If it falls, we probably all fall no matter how great our tech, no matter how pure our post quantum cryptography. The big part at risk is that the exchanges declare bankruptcy and sail off in yachts, banks never touch cryptocurrency again, and we could never buy anything with crypto.

Maybe I'm wrong and there is less than 10% chance that quantum threatens ECC-256 in 2027. Isn't the loss of a $5-10 trillion market (in 2027) worth examining?

What I want is for people to implement post quantum cryptography and stop making excuses. How many blockchains have begun a post quantum migration? 4 (Algorand, Hedera, CKD, maybe XX network.) How many networks have migrated a single post quantum wallet to protect their user assets? NONE. It has gone on for 2, 5, 1, 3 years and nobody has protected a single user.

I believe the only way we can get to quantum safety for web3 is by making new networks that don't need to migrate data. There is only 2 quantum safe networks: Cellframe and QRL. I've checked dozens of githubs and only see lies, damn lies and marketing. Does cryptocurrency deserve to survive when we're so confident we don't need to migrate our users to safety even though Apple, Google, Zoom, WhatsApp, Signal and dozens more are already done?

Banks are mostly upgraded through SSL, but we're so special because our current market exposure is $3.7 Trillion. The FDIC consider a $5 billion bank failure to be a "systemic risk" to the banking network. They expect it to fail if not immediately protected. What would $4 trillion do? How many people are so leveraged that they would lose everything? I was in Silicon Valley for the dotcom boom and bust, this is some next level bullshit in crypto delusion.

Upgrade your crypto or get sued by your users you failed to protect. They *trust* you.

IOTA has a pretty colorful past. Their current version uses ECC so it is not quantum safe. The old tangle system included a lot of double spend because it wasn't a DAG, due to cyclic churn in tangles. At one point they blocked IP address publishing because people found out docker images allowed double spend, if both Dockers connected to different peers.
