A movement I found out on social media was the MeToo movement on Twitter. The hashtag for them is #MeToo and its mission is to end sexual assault against females. It was successful because it gained a large following both by people and celebrities.

@MannyCruz_RU That is an interesting take on the question. In my post I didn't even think about the credibility of a leader as I always assumed it was something stuck with the title. I think that credibility is crucial for a leader as the leader is the image for the team and company.

@rryandefeo I think that being a digital leader also requires an individual to also have management skills. I believe it is important for a leader to know each members capabilities in order to run effectively.

@KevinMoore2885 I think that being a digital leader requires the same if not more skills than a for a leader in an office work space. Working over the web is a common occurrence today and I think that the way leaders have to adapt to this change is crucial like how you mentioned.

As for organizational competency I also feel that it is just as important for leaders to have the management skills needed to run their team effectively. Someone who knows a lot about their company and their capabilities of the members in their team.

The most important qualities that a digital leader should have are communication competency and organizational competency. These two skills are crucial because the first one shows how effective a leader can communicate orders to their team and how to be a good model.

A time where I had an experience with a disruptive innovation was when I had to download this app called Poll Everywhere for a class where the teacher used it to track student attendance to the class based on their participation in answering the questions during class. #DCIM353b
