@NiallHarbison Be so proud! The video is fantastic, but his movement from you to his forever family is a result of your prep. As you always say, another space for another dog. Your work is so special and every morning I wake up in England with my dog by my side I know how lucky we both are:-)
@HOWARDREEVE1 Congratulations Howard on a staggering 50 yrs service with @Morebusco and predecessors. It’s a feat we will struggle to see again. A massive thank you for in recent years not just keeping the Ringwood fleet on the road but keeping it in the best possible health! Happy retirement!
The Purbeck CRP have produced three murals at Dorchester South Station. The aim was to create visual and colourful enhancements at the main entrance to the station making the station more welcoming and attractive inspiring local interest through community input and public art.
Not at all a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but more a @SouthernVectis “sheep” in @Morebusco clothing. I’ve known this bus [BAA] as “the sheep” for many holidays before and since I joined the company - and now good to have as part of our @Morebusco Poole fleet!
In 1991, Ivy Travel of Huddersfield ceased trading and Yorkshire Traction took over the contract for my school bus to Batley Grammar School and reinstated LAK937W for this. Over 10 years ago I discovered it was a pizza bus in Deptford. Even more amazing, it’s still there today!
We have been made aware of planned protests in Bournemouth Town Centre on Sunday 18th August which means there is potential for disruption to services. Please see https://t.co/5XhhtGaXh9 for more details. Advance info is limited so please allow extra time for your journey.
@Morebusco To be clear this is normal route on Ashley Road Poole, nor Boscombe! Diversions at Boscombe will continue Westbound until 06.00 Wednesday, and Eastbound for a couple of weeks at least
@The_50km_Kid You either kept or reinstated the original Plaxton rear lights! Many operators replaced after a few years. Aesthetically the right decision in my opinion and hope it works out overall!
So that’s the Isle of Wight fleet of red, white and black buses ticked off. Better start on the @SouthernVectis green ones now. (Took a picture of the Yutong from each end as wasn’t sure which was the front - a nice ride, and am sure the livery police can brighten up the front!)
@EYFillingham Must be a Yorkshire thing Stuart - I’d never seen this till I was in the Cellar Bar opposite the station in my home town of Batley earlier this year and was well impressed, a fantastic innovation - certainly helped me plan my beer and train arrival convergence (when I decided!)
@NigelCurtis16@MichaelFreebor4 Hi Nigel, hope life treating you well! It’s intended for the 40s. Summer reliability means we haven’t had enough closed tops for that in recent years. This is a one off to assist redress that. Other times of year it will work other services, but yes not intended for 50s!
@EYFillingham @Morebusco@creatingdesire Thanks Stuart for the positive feedback and I know the driver you experienced will be thrilled to hear. He’s been driving the m1 since the original batch of vehicles, and this is the fourth generation. His positivity especially at that time of the morning is noteworthy!
@nickhirst40@GeorgeMCooper H1-H3FBT. But being from Yorkshire I wouldn’t shell out for a separate Fylde ticket until they were bought by Blackpool Transport a couple of years later! And I do remember first sight of the dark blue and cream livery. That moment is etched in my brain too!
Sometime in 1990, pre-teenage me went to Blackpool for a weekend. I remember being in awe at seeing the most stylish single deck bus I’d ever seen. A G-NBV registered DAF. It’s taken a third of a century….. but thanks to @GeorgeMCooper today, I’ve now driven an Optare Delta!
@pompey4ever007@GeorgeMCooper I set off on a walk to your local watering hole then realised iPhone maps was telling me the time it took to drive, not walk, so aborted and went to winning spoons instead (post driving obviously!)
