When you start a business, every single person you know is rooting for you to fail
They only check-in to hope that you have a bad update
Just learn to live and be comfortable with this
I don't want much in life
I just want to own a portfolio of cash-flowing franchises that run without me and have plenty of time for exploring new cities with my family, teach my kids about business and stop doing things I hate
That's basically it
It’s increasingly obvious there are two groups of people in the world:
Accountables
People who believe their rewards should be coupled to their effort and outcome.
Unaccountables
Louses who think that their mediocrity should always be rewarded under all circumstances.
If the Unaccountables win, we will become a lost society.
How do you spot an Unaccountable?
Ask them “What did you get done this week?”
It’s a normal question to an Accountable. It’s an existential risk to an Unaccountable. Their reaction will tell you which one they are.
🚧⚠️Someone tell me where to invest in road striping. With autonomous driving rollout, I anticipate striping to become more important and frequently maintained. SMB opportunity for sure. 🚧⚠️
X is so underrated. I sent an InMail to 3 SBA lenders in my market and have yet to get a response.
I message 3 SBA lenders on X and have responses from all of them the same day.
Folks that respond in a timely manner will always win more business 💰
While many peers were renting luxury apartments in their early 20’s I opted to use my w-2 income to qualify for home loans and have house hacked for the past 5 years. Living with housemates is a sacrifice but well worth it when debt pay down and appreciation are factored in 🏘️💰
I’ve learned that willingness to solve your own problems is truly a differentiator.
When I was 22 renting, I looked at paying rent as a problem to solve which lead to my first house hack.
I never complained about high rental costs. I adjusted and solved my own problem💡
@TRUmav Gotcha, does somewhat speak to where the dollars go. More focus on the service/ops than sales until recently.
Likely need to deal with corporate sales anyway, 15 store regional roll up your pricing would be stellar
