Darth Vader doesn't use force choke, he calls upon the force to physically manipulate the world around him, and aims that at a throat.

Definitely needed for video games and RPGs and such, but in-universe, named force powers (if extant at all) should just be arbitrary categories because people like grouping stuff.

I much prefer "<character> calls upon the force to produce <effect>"

Example: "erm" and "um" are pronounced the same.

Saying "Americans say 'parsta'" is them saying "Americans say 'pahsta'" but using their phonetics.
