@BrockLansingBWC@AR100876@Pirat_Nation But even if they weren't, it says current market value at time of claim, not at time of purchase. Offering the $330 refund is still inadequate by their own terms, if it truly is sitting near $1000
@dawn__oh@RubyMedallion Like, I don't see any world where most of the cards I listed are more expensive after, say, 3 months than they are during the first few weeks post-release.
@dawn__oh@RubyMedallion Sure, but even being special treatments and thus likely to start off expensive, if a card's unplayable, they tend to either stay stagnant or go down in price, no?
So even from spec BS, if he doesn't think these are good cards, why does he expect them to be good targets?
@robcurrran@BillyAt@TheDeeVoShow Having lived extensively around the Boyertown/Pottstown area, Pottstown has never once felt like any single shred of continuity with Philadelphia at all beyond like... Being in Pennsylvania.
@DragoonC89@zweiwalker89607 Significantly less 'weird', but he still has a penchant for throwing out random stuff that makes no sense in the Halo books. One that comes to mind is he says a fighter's autocannons shoot rounds at .25c, that had to be pretty quickly backtracked, iirc.
@mediocredreams@merthatesyou@zweiwalker89607 Palpatine doesn't use force lightning, he calls upon the force to generate electricity imbued with hateful energy and shoot it at someone.
Darth Vader doesn't use force choke, he calls upon the force to physically manipulate the world around him, and aims that at a throat.
@mediocredreams@merthatesyou@zweiwalker89607 Always thought the same.
Definitely needed for video games and RPGs and such, but in-universe, named force powers (if extant at all) should just be arbitrary categories because people like grouping stuff.
I much prefer "<character> calls upon the force to produce <effect>"
@Eureka22422_MTG IMO, the Bolas artwork is very nice, if it didn't have the Invocations frame. And the A25 art is about on par with OG albeit in a different way.
@fryenze@Cheze_ease530 The rest of the armor certainly skews feminine, but the helmet itself doesn't really? It's been associated with women a lot so there's that weight, but in a vacuum the design feels very gender neutral.
@kraken_ua@pindermason@AMoneroHodler@SaffronOlive Song of Freyalise also doesn't work. It only grants the ability to creatures you already control, not new ones made during that turn.
Earthcraft addresses both those problems, though.
@LumLotus@ItsAndyRyan@Fenjengo Because to (some) Brits "ar" makes the same sound "ah" does to us.
Example: "erm" and "um" are pronounced the same.
Saying "Americans say 'parsta'" is them saying "Americans say 'pahsta'" but using their phonetics.
