I BUILT A MISSING PRODUCT

Six weeks ago i cold emailed @Eva_Matrixdock , Head of @matrixdock Asia’s leading tokenized Gold platform, with a product concept I called the Digital Metals Command Center

She replied
I had a meeting with JJ Tan, their Product Manager, he gave me a honest feedback: “It’s obvious you don’t have product experience yet”
He was right

They passed but i kept building.

Here’s what I built:

A fully functional XAUm Smart DCA Calculator
A tool that didn’t exist anywhere for @matrixdock’s flagship gold token
You input how much you want to invest per week, month or quarter, your target gold holding in oz, your current XAUm position and your price scenario
It tells you exactly when you’ll hit your milestones, what your portfolio will be worth and a full year by year projection

Why did I build this?

Because i did a full UX teardown of XAUm and found a consistent gap after a user mints their first XAUm token, there is no native tool that helps them plan or visualize their gold accumulation journey
The infrastructure @matrixdock has built is genuinely world-class. 421 kg of LBMA-certified gold in Brink’s and Malca-Amit vaults
Live across Ethereum, BNB, Sui and Solana
Audited by Bureau Veritas
But trust isn’t just infrastructure
Trust is what users can see and feel.

A DCA calculator answers the question every first time gold investor asks:
“If I start today with what I have, when will I actually own real gold?”

The biggest untapped opportunity in this space isn’t the next chain integration
It’s the 800 million people in West Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia who have trusted Gold as their primary store of value for generations and who have never had access to institutional-grade gold ownership for $50 a month
