@BuzzPatterson This is also a complete waste of money/resources. We should cancel this program and use the funds to buy kamikaze quadcopter drones for the 82nd Airborne. Right now ALL our ground forces are combat ineffective.
Tested Claude + Blender today with two real workflows. Sharing what actually happened.
First one was a simple demo. Gave it one sentence to build a cyberpunk room. Geometry, lighting, camera, render. It got there, though not everything in the prompt landed perfectly. Good enough to show the concept, not a stress test.
Second one was more interesting. Threw a raw photogrammetry scan at it. Massey Ferguson tractor, 250k faces, grass background everywhere, debris floating all over the place. Asked Claude to clean it up autonomously.
It did the work. Removed 106 floating chunks, cut face count by 87%, stripped the grass, flipped the model upright, set up studio lighting and rendered. Technically it worked.
But honest answer: the result wasn't clean enough for production. This kind of cleanup still needs the right tools and someone who knows what they're doing.
So here's where it actually fits. Not the precise technical stuff. The setup work. The repetitive stuff. The things that take forever if you don't already know Blender. It won't replace your 3D artist. It replaces the boring part before they start.
@VoxelKei I code & work in 3D. The earliest AI models created usable code. Claude can’t make anything usable in Blender, just slop. Navigates menus tho! Code is symbolic, discrete good for next-token prediction. 3D topology demands real spatial/geometric intuition that LLMs don't have.
@MarioNawfal This is all fake. Jets in enclosed hangars would be moved with aircraft tugs, otherwise the jet blast & exhaust would make habitation in that tunnel unbearable. We live in a world where our influencers have never had real jobs and don't know how anything works.
@Dagnum_PI Fake. The BOM doesn't include tracking hardware & other critical components like FCB. GitHub won't host tracking software as it violates TOS. Would be easier to take down airliners w/FPV quads, but there are countermeasures coming online even for that.
@MyLordBebo This top video is a malfunction or an intercept hit...a cluster warhead wouldn't look like that, you would have 3 to 5 (cluster) elements [not +20] with rockets on each one firing until impact, here you can see they fizzle out before hitting the ground.
@Partisangirl The English subtitles are inaccurate. The official says that if a Jew builds in Tel Aviv or Be’er Sheva, without a permit, they’d have their structures demolished too. The official claims the resident doesn’t have permits, the resident claims he does. Very sad.
@howie1699640204@buckleycarlson@infolibnews Lafayette joined the American cause as a private citizen, not for the French crown. He returned to (politically) fight Jacobins & Monarchists, arguing for a moderate path forward. He was a patriot who fought for 2 nations.
@howie1699640204@buckleycarlson@infolibnews Non sequitur. There’s an argument which says: ‘You can’t be loyal to two nations’ - and so I ask: ‘how do we think about people who’ve fought for 2+ nations?’ Whether one nation is good/bad is another topic.
@Carrioner1 @FuentesUpdates Not true, temperate 4-season climates produce more consistent and diversified food sources for hunter-gatherers than the Arctic, so if you and Nick are correct, The Inuits, Sámi, and Ainu peoples should all be doctors, lawyers, and engineers by now.
