@Madabake @Prolife_Texan__ @Lareebyrde @mattxiv@jk_rowling So what trans women being in women's space now gives you a pass to be creepy and be like "let me see what's underneath your pants"?
@nicoleeo2012 @ANTTONILOPEZ @NoLieWithBTC Ok so contribute nothing and call me a freak. Your "argument" already tanked. And literally no men are in those spaces anyhow.
@nicoleeo2012 @ANTTONILOPEZ @NoLieWithBTC Also your infographic proves you wrong since if I were a betting lady I'd say more cops, priests, teachers, and doctors have victimized women.
@nicoleeo2012 @ANTTONILOPEZ @NoLieWithBTC If your really that fucking uptight about a trans woman just using the locker room maybe don't go in the locker room, and then boom, problem solved and the world is saved.
@MorePerfectUS Great. Yeah just completely fuck over the entire fact that education should make people grow and have their own thoughts on things, because that's how we grow. When we actually think for ourselves.
@Prolife_Texan__@mattxiv@jk_rowling This trans man is female, so do you want him to be in your women's space instead? Many women would disagree with that. How about treating people as individuals instead of as potential predators, and as a nice added bonus we wouldn't have to play bathroom police either.
@Prolife_Texan__ @Lareebyrde @mattxiv@jk_rowling So what inspecting women, regardless if they are trans or not, is necessary to keep people "safe"? This is the same argument for updated security tracking everything, to "keep you safe." It's all bullshit. And also creepy as shit.
The argument in these tweets can be scary, but it's important to break down what's actually happening.
Let's look at it from a place of protecting kids while also respecting them.
The main worry you hear is that kids are making permanent, irreversible decisions they'll regret. That's a valid concernβwe all want to protect children from harm. Everyone agrees that these decisions are serious and require a lot of care.
However, the argument is misleading because it mixes everything up to sound worse than it is. Think of it like a ladder. Medical care for trans youth has several rungs, and doctors, parents, and the child climb it very carefully, one step at a time.
Step 1: The first steps are things like changing a haircut or name. This is completely reversible.
Step 2: The next medical step is often "puberty blockers." These are like a pause button. They temporarily stop the body changes of puberty to give the kid and their family more time to think, without the stress of their body changing in a way that feels wrong. This step is reversible.
Step 3: Much later, a teen might start hormones. This is a bigger step with some permanent changes.
Step 4: Surgery is the final rung, and it's extremely rare for anyone under 18.
The problem with the anti-trans argument is that it points to the top of the ladder (surgery) and claims everyone is being pushed there immediately. That's not true. The medical community supports this step-by-step process because the alternativeβdoing nothingβis incredibly harmful. Kids with gender dysphoria who don't get support have extremely high rates of depression and suicide.
So, the most ethical and compassionate approach is to support this careful, step-by-step medical process. It's about reducing real, immediate suffering while giving kids the time and space they need to make the right choices for themselves, respecting their fundamental right to be comfortable in their own bodies.
@magafan1776 Quick Google search and uh, they ain't trans. Even then, what's the problem with them wearing it? It's literally clothes. If they want to wear it for fun or whatever, no harm done.
@OwenShroyer1776 Yes, he's blocking your view of the husky man in tights putting his hands between the legs of the other man in tights.
Do you know they shower together after the games too?
But that dancing guy! Draw the line!
@OwenShroyer1776 And some food for thought for you, and anyone else looking at this, in the 19th and early 20th century cheerleaders were predominantly men before it then became associated with women when men were drafted to fight in World War II.
