Here is the $750 million loan Uhuru Kenyatta took in March/April 2022 and it was paid in full the same month.

The loan was meant to ensure all government institutions shifted to an electronic procurement system by 2023. By 2025, that is still not fully achieved. It was also meant to improve Kenya Power through reforms and much more

Ironically, some of these things are only being done now in 2025 using our taxes etc, yet the money was paid in full back in 2022. The loan was signed by Ukur Yatani.

Also, the purpose of this loan to me makes no sense at all that it would need 750 million ksh . Like how much does it cost to create a govt e procurement sysytem? makes no sense

And even as we speak , majority of govt institutions haven't started using the system

If you ask how this loan has helped the common mwananchi in rural Kenya, you won’t get an answer. Why couldn’t we take such a loan and invest it in roads or industries to create jobs?

I repeat: is it okay for a president to take such huge loans and ensure they are disbursed just 2–3 months before elections?

We must start holding leaders accountable the Nepal way: arrest them legally and demand answers on where the money went.
