@bagga_buntyy1 I think you have the wrong Ian Smith pictured.....I don't think the former Prime Minister of Rhodesia did much cricket commentary. (And John Arlott or Alan Gibson for me were the greatest)
@mpgf1973@bbctms Didn't captain in a Lord's test? He was (as I remember) meant to be following Illy as England captain in '73 but failed twice (and became injured) in the 1st Test at Trent Bridge and that was that.
@theamelia___ Yes. One person who didn't acknowledge the polite gesture was the current elected Mayor of the neighbouring city (which is perhaps going to absorb us very soon). It's funny what little things make you go off people!
@Murk441 It's an age dependent problem I guess; if he's 21 years he buys you a new couch, 21 months ensure he is issued with non permanent markers (and a few firm words)
