THIS CLINIC IS BUILT DIFFERENT.
Not a lecture.
Not a chalkboard clinic.
See it in action. Interact live. Ask questions. Learn the why. Leave with ideas you can use at your next practice.

When I go into a situation, I try to keep a mindset of baseline optimism.
- When starting the day: It's going to be a good day.
- When meeting someone new: I'm going to like them.
- When trying something challenging: It's going to work out.
Problems will inevitably arise and I'll deal with them as the situation demands, but my preference is to assume I'm on a winning path until proven otherwise.
This isn’t a chalkboard clinic. This is basketball in action. 🏀

If you’re a youth coach and you have 100 different sets, you’re actually stunting the growth & development of the players in my opinion.
Being to controlling creates robots and not basketball players
Teaching them how to play > teaching plays
D1s telling us they are holding spots for the Spring because of Rev share and 5th yr ruling.
D2s telling us they are only taking 1 HS kid in the fall and waiting until Spring.
Families have got to stop trying to overplay/oversell their hand. Your reality is what's in front of you.
It’s not how you win.
It’s how you lose that defines you.
Put your emotions aside and be the bigger fan.
Better yet, become a PIAA official. You act like you know the rules when you yell at officials - so now prove it.

"Hard things usually suck and then you've got to get to the other side.
You can be like, "Oh, we got this long practice."
If that's your mentality, then are you competitive?
You should want to because you get to."
Average players complete practice.
Great players compete in it.

@kerimcanaynaci@espn Neither team is here to win. None of them are taking it seriously. What a joke of a game…this is why I don’t watch the nba all star game.
The science is clear: Athletes with autonomy-supporting coaches show 23% higher risk-taking in games and make decisions 2.5x faster under pressure. The data backs this approach.
