This is in truth, the way it is for many unwary writers on the Internet. A snakepit of scammers.

The hunt goes on for the thief who stole a copy of the most famous photo of Winston Churchill in Ottawa's Chateau Laurier.
Yousuf Karsh's Churchill portrait became famous
My account of the day he refused to take my photo but allowed me to take his.

Rationed myself on #TheSandman but sadly it came to an end. Never, ever, have I seen anything so creative. It's like the graphic novel became the storyboard and all film production crafts and actors were encouraged to let their innate creativity soar. Exquisite!. @neilhimself
@simonharley I believe that video shows the sails being clewed up, so presumably she was arriving at her final destination. The sailors standing on the Tops show how gigantic these ships were. And note the dozens climbing the ratlines to the tops.
@jslaternyc What a superb piece of journalism. Behind the Scenes of Behind the Scenes. Just exemplary writing and reporting along with excellent photographs. This is the way journalism used to be. Thank you.
At the Lake Louise Inn and this is the view from my writing table.
Shark Flight is well past its editing deadline. Views like this do not help. I now believe the best place to write is somewhere without a view, like an abandoned coal mine

Bestselling author James Rebanks has been called Englandβs most famous farmer.
@JeffGlor spoke with @herdyshepherd1 about the future of farming and his efforts to return his plot of earth to the vibrant, thriving and biologically diverse world he once knew.
Finally got into #instagram this afternoon in western Canada. Web page sent me to my phone app to take a video selfie. The video app for verification is very finicky, but finally I got cleared and had access. No idea why I had to go through all that. #instagramdown
A hawk staking out its hunting post for next week when the school kids come back. Hawks get most of their winter food reserves for the winter during the opening days of school.
Little known fact. Alfred Hitchcock filmed "The Birds" as a nature documentary.
@JeremyClarkson Well, that is a must have purchase. Between the TV show (now a book), both you and James Rebanks (English Pastoral - Shepherd's LIfe) have done more for the understanding of agriculture and its threatened future than anyone has for many decades.
@Bob_Mayer Fascinating book, read it several times, but I am not qualified to judge it or understand its critics. It's well written, thought provoking, and I think it is time for a reread. Thanks
