Yep, Carson couldn’t get an invite to the Under Armour camp as one of the top returning 6A QBs, then proceeds to play the camp’s QB MVP Wk1. Carson threw for 300 yards, ran for 100, and led a 90‑yard game‑winning drive. The camp MVP threw 3 INTs and should’ve had 5. Go figure.
Our goalie decided we weren’t gonna lose today.. One of the greatest American sport performances of all time

Trinidad Chambliss was a 0 star and Fernando Mendoza was a 2 star coming out of high school.
Both had to beg their way into college football.
Both had and have special makeup and incredible work ethic.
The coaches that knew them the best growing up, were probably telling college coaches they were special but the college coaches were reliant on the rankings to formulate their opinions.
Nick Saban talking about the first lesson he ever learned as a coach…
“When you’re in a critical situation in a game, don’t think of plays, think of players.” ✍🏼
It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother Dusty Litster.
For the past 15 months Dusty put up a courageous battle against brain cancer and while it’s sad to know he is no longer with us, all of us at Rewind could not be more proud of the fight he showed by not only exceeding the normal 3-month life expectancy he was given during his initial diagnosis, but he actually made it back to call the High School Basketball Championships earlier this year.
Dusty not only was an ambassador for high school sports, he became the true voice for all of the big moments across the state while never shining the spotlight away from the athletes.
When Rewind was formed, the premise behind our coverage was to be the outlet that covered the state the right way and for the right reasons. It was our goal from day 1 to always be the group that was approachable, cared about the under dogs, and always remained positive in our coverage. None of those would have been possible without Dusty’s humility, passion, and willingness to simply lend his voice to the moment instead of making the moment about anything else.
While we know there is solace in knowing he is no longer hurting, our hearts hurt for Dusty’s wife Megan and for their kids. Dusty as a husband, as a father, and as a friend was somehow even better than Dusty behind the mic and it’s those qualities that we all will miss the most.
Dusty may be gone from this world, but his impact and his love will never be forgotten!
I am so proud that he is putting the Lord first for the next two years. Carson, lay it all out there for the Lord, as you did every time you stepped on a field or a court. I'm excited for you to build new relationships with the people S. Africa as you help them come unto Christ.
Carson loves adversity and being uncomfortable. His high school experience wasn't as planned or always easy. But his unique experience helped him grow beyond measure. He had the incredible opportunity to be coached by so many great individuals and make lasting relationships.
Special thanks to ALL his awesome coaches through the years. I am truly grateful for these incredible men beyond what words could express. I would not bet against Carson down the road. He is tested, has grit, and is a proven winner.
Proud of my accomplishments and thankful for my second family for pushing me to be the best football player and person that I am today!!
